The Polestar 1 is one of the most intriguing performance cars launched in recent years and while it didn’t revolutionize the industry, it did prove that the Swedish automaker should be taken seriously. Now, a particularly eye-catching example has hit the used-car market.
This particular Polestar 1 is the Special Edition variant, limited to just 25 examples worldwide and introduced to commemorate the end of production of the hybrid. It differs from the standard model with a special Gold Matte paint finish and also comes with a handful of carbon fiber accessories, 21-inch black diamond cut alloy wheels and Pirelli P Zero 275/30 front tires and 295/30 rear. .

The Polestar 1’s powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder engine that drives the front wheels. Additional grunt is provided by a pair of electric motors on the rear axle and a 34 kWh battery, resulting in a combined output of 619 hp and 738 lb-ft (1000 Nm) of torque. This powertrain also features an eight-speed automatic transmission and the car can travel up to 52 miles (83 km) on electric power alone.
Inside the Polestar 1 Special Edition cabin is gray Nappa leather upholstery on the seats, door panels, dashboard and center console. It also has heated front seats with contrasting yellow stitching and includes dual-zone climate control, a head-up display, a 9-inch information system and a powerful Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Some carbon fiber trim is also found inside, as are yellow seat belts.
This Polestar 1 was delivered new to Polestar Short Hills, New Jersey and acquired by the selling dealer in May 2022. It is being sold with only 124 miles (200 km) on the odometer through Bring a trailer and comes with manufacturer’s literature, window sticker, clean Carfax report and clean New Jersey title.
