TDOT in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area Work starting October 2, 2021
Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT)
Nashville, Tennessee – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) in Montgomery County will perform grading, drainage, construction of a welded sheet steel girder bridge, retaining wall and paving on the SR 149 and SR 13 from River Road to Zinc Plant Road.
Every day, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., there will be periodic marking operations along the SR 13 and SR 149 for clearing, earthworks, bridges and / or paving operations. Mayhew Road will remain closed.
Traffic on SR 13 will remain in the phase four route as switched on November 7, 20200. Width reduced to 22 ′ for the entire project. Reporting of lane closures may occur on Dean Road at the intersection with SR 13 for the drainage installation.
SR 112 / SR76
Improvements at intersections, including grading, drainage and retaining wall construction, will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The closures will be intermittent.
SR 237 pipe feedthrough
Traffic will be reduced to a 2-phase lane for the completion of the crossing of the pipe every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
I-24 – Routine Inspection of Bridges
Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Eastbound Silliman Evans Bridge will have a closed full length exterior lane for the under-bridge inspection vehicle.
I-24 Resurfacing and improvements from I-40 split to I-440 split
Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (including weekends) there will be multiple alternating lane closures and multiple alternating ramp closures on I-24 between I-40 split and split I-440 for milling, paving and layout.
I-24 Various safety upgrades on I-24 to SR 171 (Old Hickory Blvd) EB ramp (exit 62)
Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be temporary intermittent closures of lanes I-24 EB from Bell Road to OHB as well as temporary intermittent closures of lanes I-24 WB from OHB to Bell Road for the placement and removal of the containment system on the Hickory Hollow Bridge as well as the final layout.
I-40 Resurfacing on I-40 from Old Hickory Boulevard to Arlington Avenue
Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (including weekends) there will be multiple alternating lane closures and multiple alternating ramp closures on I-40 between Old Hickory Boulevard and Arlington Avenue for milling, paving and layout.
I-40 Repair of I-40 bridges over Stones River and SR 171 over Stones River
Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (excluding weekends) there will be temporary intermittent lane closures on the Stones River Bridge on I-40 for a thin-film epoxy coating. At least two lanes will remain open at all times.
I-65 Maintenance of ITS
Every day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a shoulder closure just outside to repair the duct.
Davidson County / Rutherford County
Construction of I-24 intelligent transport system, upgrades for I-24 SMART corridor
Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be right-hand lane and EB and WB shoulder closures for the installation of the gantry foundations and conduits. There will be EB and WB left lane closures for overhead panel foundation work in the median from MM 53 to MM 65.
I-40 resurfacing and repair of the I-40 bridge east of Piney Road to the I-840 bridge
From Sunday October 3 to Wednesday October 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. there will be night lane closures for milling and paving operations in the EB and WB directions.
I-40 Maintenance of ITS
Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., there will be a straight exterior lane and shoulder closure on I-40 to replace CCTV 201
I-40 Bridge repairs on I-40 over the Buffalo River
From Saturday October 2 to Wednesday October 6 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there is a temporary shift in traffic in both directions. Traffic is shifted to the right lane and shoulder while work is being done under the bridge in the EB and WB directions.
I-65 enlargement project
Grading, drainage, construction of bridges and retaining walls, ITS, milling and paving will take place every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the north and south directions. Soldiers to use. Ramp closing SR 25 – Ramps to be closed during paving operations. Only one ramp will be closed at a time for 2 nights in the following order: 1) SR 25 Southbound Off Ramp 2) SR 25 Southbound On Ramp.
