Sonora Union High School District works to recover student data after hard drive crash | New

A massive crash of a key database containing Sonora Union High School District student grades, attendance and assignment completion was not the result of a hack or cyberattack, confirmed District Superintendent Ed Pelfrey on Wednesday.

District technology specialists have been working for several weeks to recover student data lost due to a major malfunction in an electronic storage system described by Pelfrey as being “central to much of our operations.”
