VANCOUVER, BC, March 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – Deep-South Resources Inc. (“Deep-South” or “the Company”) (TSXV: DSM) reports that at the hearing held on March 22, 2022the judge ordered legal counsel for the Ministry of Mines and Energy to Namibia (“Department”) to file its affidavit in defense no later than April 22, 2022. Lawyers from the Deep South will have up to May 13, 2022 to file their reply in defense of the Ministry.

The judge also drew the parties’ attention to Part 6 of the High Court Rules. Part 6 deals with penalties for failure to follow rules, directions or court orders. Sanctions could be applied in the event of non-compliance with deadlines or an undue request for an extension.

The Court will hold another hearing on May 18, 2022to define subsequent procedures regarding the review of the Minister’s decision to refuse the renewal of the Haib Copper EPL 3140 exploration permit.
