Clarksville-Montgomery County area TDOT Works starting July 2, 2022 – Clarksville Online

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Montgomery County will perform work on US 41A / SR 12 including bicycle and pedestrian facilities at mm16.8 – 19.3.
Daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (excluding holiday restrictions) there will be sidewalk construction work. The contractor must use a traffic lane for safety and construction.
The resurfacing on I-24 from MM 0.0 to the TN/KY state line at MM 5.0. Including concrete ramp repairs at Exit 1 Trenton Road, both eastbound and westbound ramps.
Every evening, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (except restrictions during public holidays). There will be nightly lane closures in both EB and WB for milling and paving operations. A lane that must remain open at all times.
There will be grading, drainage, construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge, retaining wall and paving on SR 149 and SR 13 from River Rd. zinc plant at MM 17-19.
Daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except restrictions during holidays) Periodic signaling operations will take place along SR 13 and SR 149 for clearing, grading work, bridge work and /or paving operations. Mayhew Road will remain closed. Traffic on SR 13 will remain in the Phase Four alignment as it was switched on 7/11/20. Blasting operations will continue on SR 149.
Traffic on SR 149 will transition to the modified Phase 4 alignment. The width is reduced to 22′ for the entire project.
Level, drain, SR 455 pavement + dyke construction (by others)
Complete and continuous road closure for construction of a dike (by others), box culvert, stream relocation and roadway construction from SR 49 to the AO Smith entry. The entrance to Riverbluff Park will remain open to the public. Access to AO Smith from SR 12 will remain open.
I-65 and SR 245
Grading, drainage, construction of a retaining wall, signage and paving on I-65 at the NB exit ramp to SR 254 (OHB, exit 74A)
Daily, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (excluding restrictions during holidays) There will be temporary lane closures on SR 254 (OHB) in both directions for grading work. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.
Random signing on call on various interstate and national routes
Every evening from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (except for holiday restrictions) There will be a double left lane closure on I-65 NB and a single right lane closure on I-65 NB. -65 SB for installing extruded panels on Buchanan Street / Garfield Street Viaduct
Installation of overhead signage structure on I-65
Daily, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (excluding restrictions on public holidays). There will be shoulder closures on I-65, in both directions, for the removal of the overhang sign footing and the removal of the damaged overhead sign structure.
SR 112 (US 41A / Clarksville Pike) from SR 12 (Ashland City Highway) to SR 155 (Briley Parkway) – Piedmont Move Prior
Daily, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (excluding restrictions during holidays) There will be a temporary alternating lane closure on SR 112 Clarksville Pike in both directions for grading, storm drainage, sewer sanitary facilities and aerial electricity. Flaggers will be used. There will also be a complete closure of Fairview Drive for road grading and underground communications; a detour will be set up.
Davidson County / Rutherford County
Building an Intelligent Transportation System and Upgrades from Nashville to Murfreesboro (Phase 2)
From 05/07 to 06/07, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be a single closed left lane EB and WB for the installation of ITS equipment. Two lanes will remain open at all times.
7/6, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be left lane closures WB and right lane closures EB for the installation of the overhead gantry at MM 65. A rolling roadblock lasting 15 minutes will take place in the East direction at MM 65 .
The expansion of the Bell Road Intelligent Transport System to Waldron Road. (I-24 Motion Project)
Every evening, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., (except for holiday restrictions) There will be a WB clousre right lane for the installation of guardrails. Three lanes will remain open at all times.
